TredFest is a not for profit organisation that seeks to promote the creation and performance of new, grassroots music, and to establish Tredegar as a cultural hub.

 

Tredegar is a small town with high levels of deprivation that, since the demolition of its only dedicated live music venue in 1989, has also suffered a cultural deficit that has meant that an entire generation in the town has been unable to access any kind of new music performance.

 

This is why TredFest exists.

 

We work collaboratively with performers and venues to rectify this situation and create opportunities for artists to perform and to make live music as accessible as possible.
